Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:
Connecticut state law does not require that notaries obtain and use a seal or rubber stamp. However, state law does prescribe the format of the seal if one is used.
Embosser or rubber-inked stamp. Required elements: Name of Notary, the words “Notary Public, Connecticut, and My commission expires (commission expiration date).
Ink color should be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
