Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:
Rubber-inked stamp. A notary public may use a stamp that includes the notary’s commission name, “Notary Public, State of Michigan, County of ______,” “My commission expires________,” and “Acting in the County of _______.”
Michigan Notarial Rules state an embosser alone or other method that cannot be reproduced may not be used. (If you wish to use an embosser it must be as an addition to your official stamp.)
Ink color must be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.
